About the Role We have a permanent full-time position with 40hours a week, available for a recent graduate in Health Science or a related field who is looking to start their career in healthcare. This role is based at Greenlane Clinical centre. As a Team Administrator Specialist Outpatient Services, you will join our Adult Community and Long-Term Conditions Directorate. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience within outpatient services, working closely with clinical teams and supporting patient care coordination. Youll be part of a busy, supportive, and collaborative environment where youll learn how healthcare services operate daily while contributing to high-quality patient outcomes. About the Team/Service/ Location Specialist Outpatient Service is a part of the Community and Long-Term Conditions and Adult Medical Directorates which consists of 8 services delivering high quality health care for adults aged over 16 years. This role is based at Greenlane Clinical centre. For more information on living and working in Auckland click here About you As the ideal person for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes: Qualification in Health Sciences or a related field (or equivalent experience) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work effectively in a team and a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills and attention to detail Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to equitable health outcomes Support the smooth running of outpatient clinics through a wide range of administrative tasks Provide administrative support to clinicians, managers, and multidisciplinary teams Coordinate patient appointments and respond to enquiries from patients, whānau, and healthcare providers Manage rosters and leave processes using internal systems Perform accurate data entry and maintain clinical documentation systems Prepare meeting minutes, reports, and presentations Coordinate purchasing and manage clinical/non-clinical supplies and assets (e.g., equipment, IT, fleet) Liaise with internal teams and external providers to support service delivery Contribute to service improvement initiatives and project work Click here to view the position description Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
