About the role We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about leading change and implementing best practice to take the next step in their career. As a Transformation Officer Donor Services Support Specialist you will be a key member of the National Donor Services Support Team ensuring NZBS delivers operational excellence and continuous process improvement in donor and patient care. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support, research, plan, promote and implement clinical and best practice initiatives associated with the Donor Services operational business plan. Working closely with the Donor Services Operational teams, Charge Nurses, Clinical Nurse Leaders, Nurse Education Team, Clinical Coaches, Regional Managers, the Clinical Team, Chief Nurse, and our Quality Teams, this role is key to identifying improvements and leading or contributing to projects and initiatives across Donor Services, nationwide. This is a great opportunity for someone to directly influence change initiatives that enhance donor experience and service delivery within Donor Services and develop their skills even further in this area. This work includes managing potential changes to process, stakeholder and communication management and implementation. It also includes maintenance of controlled documents, evaluation & validation of some core equipment and assistance in the investigation and resolution of incidents and audit points to ensure necessary corrective action and organisational learning is achieved. Salary starting from $114,025 - $121,444 depending on skills, registration, and experience. About you Key to your success in this role will be your ability to achieve your objectives on time in a GMP environment through the establishment of effective working relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to NZBS. If you have a strong understanding of business improvement processes and the ability to effectively manage and coordinate set initiatives, then this could be a right opportunity for you. To be highly considered in this role we are seeking someone with: Current NZ Annual Practising Certificate as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Current entitlement to work in New Zealand Excellent communication both written and verbal, organisational skills The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a national team A positive, collaborative approach, including in remote work environments The ability to adapt and remain effective in high‑pressure or changing environments The ability and willingness to travel Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Experience in process / business improvement (small to large scale) Must be a team player and able to work with and influence the best from others.
