This is an opportunity for registered Psychologists (either salaried or contractor roles available) based in the Auckland region, Onehunga. You’ll be supporting clients engaged with ACC sensitive claims work, ACC Psychological Services (mental health difficulties related to physical injuries) and other types of referrals, including opportunities for Forensic and Mental Health assessment and treatment. For more about us, visit: https://mgassociates.co.nz What You’ll Be Doing: Offering thoughtful, trauma-informed therapy to people engaged in the ACC sensitive claims process, ACC Psychological Services and private referrals. Opportunities for Forensic and Mental Health Assessments and Treatments. Completing psychological or psychosocial assessments to help understand client needs across a range of presentations. Collaborating with GPs, whānau, and other providers where appropriate. Keeping clear, confidential client records in line with ACC and professional standards. Shaping your work style to suit your needs - remote, hybrid, or in-person options are all welcome depending on your role. You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Are: Registered in New Zealand (with a valid APC) Compassionate and grounded, with at least 1 year experience working therapeutically with trauma experience. Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a driven team. Registration with ACC preferred but not essential. Please note you will require ACC registration prior to commencing work with us.
