About the Role If you enjoybeing at the frontline of mental healthcare delivery, then this is the role foryou. While it is a fast paced, demanding environment, you will have theopportunity to excel in serving a community in need, making a real differenceto tangata whai ora`s experience in their mental health journey, while also learning up to datelegislative processes. The role willalso expose you to a multidisciplinary team environment, with various disciplines,such as psychiatry, social work, and nursing, working alongside you day to day. The role also requires you to helpprepare documents for Court Hearings, working alongside lawyers, court staff andDistrict Inspectors. The salary range for this role is $73,476 - $81,164, depending on experience. About the Team/Service/ Location Te Whare Ahuru is a 24-hour mental health assessmentand treatment acute inpatient service for adults aged from 18 years. The service is located at the Hutt ValleyHospital. About you We are seeking a dynamic,motivated and skilled administrator who can multitask. Previousexperience maintaining Mental Health Act processes is ideal, but not essential. You will need tobe organised, adaptable and have strong communication skills. Be able to workautonomously as well as fitting into team dynamics. Be able to workunder pressure. Be able tomaintain confidentialityExcellentcommunication High level ofattention to detail and accuracy A friendlydisposition and willingness to learn are essential Previousadministrative experience in a healthcare environment is ideal, but notessential.
