Rapid contractors – North Shore, North Island We're looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team, based out of our Dome Valley office. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work – quoting everything from small residential jobs through to larger commercial tenders – and who takes pride in building strong relationships with clients. About the Role As our Estimator, you'll play a key part in winning new work and setting jobs up for success from the start. You'll prepare accurate, competitive quotes, meet with clients on-site to scope projects, and work closely with our team to make sure every job transitions smoothly from quote through to construction. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate estimates and quotes for a range of projects, from small residential jobs to larger tenders Conduct site visits and meet with clients to understand project requirements Work within our existing estimating systems and processes, adapting quickly to how we operate Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing and information Collaborate closely with the wider team to ensure a smooth handover from estimating to project delivery Maintain clear, organised records of quotes, tenders, and client communications What You'll Bring Previous experience in estimating (residential and/or commercial construction) Strong communication skills and a personable, professional manner when dealing with clients Ability to adapt to new systems and processes A collaborative, team-first attitude Full, current New Zealand driver's licence Good attention to detail and strong time management The Details Based at our Dome Valley office 40–45 hours per week Genuine variety across residential and commercial projects Supportive team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
