Finance Manager - Singapore & US Operations RTS ELECTRONIC PACIFIC PTE. LTD. – Queenstown About RTS Pacific RTS Pacific is an international sourcing, supply chain and trading company specialising in the wire and cable industry. We work with manufacturers across Asia and supply customers globally through a range of commercial models including FOB, DAP and DDP. As our business continues to grow across Singapore and the United States, we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of our finances while partnering closely with the Managing Director to support commercial decision‑making and operational excellence. This is a hands‑on role within a growing SME. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable closing the monthly accounts, analysing shipment profitability, managing supplier payments and helping improve the systems and processes that underpin the business. Role Purpose The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the day‑to‑day finance function across RTS Pacific's Singapore and US operations. The role combines traditional accounting responsibilities with commercial finance, treasury and operational support. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will ensure the business maintains strong financial controls while providing timely financial information to support purchasing, pricing, inventory, logistics and supply chain decisions. This role offers significant opportunity to grow alongside the business and play an active role in shaping how finance supports international trading operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain the full set of accounts for RTS Pacific Pte Ltd and coordinate accounting activities for RTS Pacific LLC in conjunction with external accountants in year one Perform monthly, quarterly and year‑end financial closing activities. Prepare management accounts and supporting schedules. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations. Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accurate journal entries. Ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition across different trading models. Support annual audit activities and statutory reporting requirements. Maintain accounting policies and internal financial controls. 2. Treasury & Working Capital Management Manage Accounts Receivable and follow up outstanding customer balances. Manage Accounts Payable and supplier payment schedules. Monitor daily cash positions across Singapore and US entities. Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts. Manage supplier prepayments and customer advances. Support inter‑company accounting and fund transfers. Coordinate banking administration and payment approvals. Monitor foreign exchange exposure arising from international transactions. 3. Commercial Finance & Costing Monitor sales, gross margins and profitability by customer, supplier and shipment. Maintain landed cost models across FOB, DAP and DDP transactions. Compile product costs including material, freight, duties, tariffs and other landed costs. Analyse cost variances and identify opportunities for improvement. Prepare financial analysis to support commercial decision‑making. Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting. 4. Supply Chain Finance Support Validate supplier invoices against purchase orders and shipment documentation. Verify freight, customs brokerage and duty invoices. Reconcile shipment costs and actual landed costs. Support Importer of Record accounting and customs cost reconciliation. Ensure accurate costing of inventory and imported products. Assist with month‑end shipment accruals and inventory adjustments. Support continuous improvement of finance and operational processes. 5. Payroll, Compliance & Administration Process monthly payroll. Manage CPF, IRAS and other statutory submissions. Coordinate tax filings with external tax advisors. Support insurance renewals, corporate secretarial requirements and regulatory filings. Provide general finance and office administration support where required. Qualifications & Experience Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years' experience managing a full set of accounts. Experience preparing month‑end and year‑end financial statements. Strong knowledge of Singapore and US accounting and statutory requirements. Experience with accounting or ERP systems. Preferred ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification. Experience supporting overseas entities or multi‑company accounting. Experience within a trading, distribution, import/export or supply chain environment. Experience with multi‑currency accounting. Experience with landed costing, inventory accounting or international logistics. Experience with Epicor ERP. What Success Looks Like Within the first 12 months you will: Own the monthly financial close across Singapore and support the US entity. Produce timely and accurate management accounts. Establish reliable cash flow reporting across both businesses. Deliver accurate landed cost and profitability reporting. Improve visibility of margins across customers, suppliers and shipments. Strengthen financial controls while maintaining the agility required in a growing international trading business.
