We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our Finance team. Te mahi tūranga - About the role As an Accounts Clerk, you will provide efficient financial and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our Finance team. You will work collaboratively with kaimahi across the organisation, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting sound financial practices. This role offers flexible working arrangements , with the opportunity to work from home for the majority of your week . There will be an expectation to attend the office when required for team hui, collaboration, training, or other organisational activities, ensuring you remain connected with the Finance team and the wider organisation. Responsibilities: Process account transactions. Prepare, process, and reconcile invoices, supplier statements. Maintain accurate financial records and electronic filing systems. Respond promptly and professionally to supplier and internal finance enquiries. Ensure compliance with organisational policies, financial procedures, and legislative requirements. Provide general administrative support to the Finance team. Ngā pūkenga, ngā tohu ōu - What you will need We're looking for someone who is: Experienced as a Finance Administrator, or similar finance role. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Confident working with accounting software (Xero experience is an advantage). Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. A strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with others. Honest, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining confidentiality. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining regular communication with the team. Willing to embrace and work within a kaupapa Māori environment, demonstrating respect for tikanga Māori and a commitment to manaakitanga and whanaungatanga.
