What You’ll Be Doing Operate crawler cranes safely and efficiently in accordance with lift plans, site schedules and supervisor instructions. Assist with crane mobilisation, demobilisation, assembly and dismantling activities. Complete daily inspections and basic maintenance, promptly reporting any defects or maintenance requirements. Communicate effectively with riggers, dogmen, supervisors and other site personnel to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations. Lift, move and position heavy materials, including precast concrete elements and structural components, in accordance with project requirements. Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and professionalism while supporting the wider project team as required. What We’re Looking For NZQA Qualified Crawler Crane Operator (Unit Standards 3789 and 27676) or equivalent international qualification and/or experience preferred. New Zealand Certificate in Crane Operation (Level 3 or Level 4) desirable. Minimum two years' crawler crane operating experience preferred. Strong understanding of safe lifting practices and New Zealand health and safety requirements. Current New Zealand Class 2 or Class 4 Driver Licence with W, T and R endorsements, or an equivalent Australian heavy vehicle licence with the ability to transfer. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test. Physically fit with a positive attitude and a willingness to support the wider team.
