Greenlane Veterinary Centre – Auckland, North Island Location: Best Practice Companion Animal Veterinary Clinic & Cattery, Central Auckland Start Date: Week commencing 17th of August An exciting opportunity has become available for a Receptionist to join our dedicated team at our Best Practice accredited Companion Animal Veterinary Clinic & Cattery in Central Auckland. This is a full-time position offering 32-38 hours per week across 4–5 days , with one in every four Saturdays required . As a key member of our team, you will be at the forefront of client interactions, providing exceptional administrative and customer service support. This varied role includes: Managing our appointment diary to ensure smooth scheduling and patient flow. Overseeing cattery bookings and working closely with our cattery team to ensure a seamless experience for our clients. Handling client queries, providing information and assistance as needed. Collaborating with our veterinary nurses and veterinarians to ensure exceptional care for our clients and their pets. Managing over-the-counter sales of products and pet diets. Contributing to marketing and promotional activities to promote our services and support the growth of our loyal client base. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who has: Previous reception experience (essential). Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a professional and friendly manner. A high standard of presentation. Strong computer skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous experience in a veterinary practice, medical facility, or an animal-related environment (preferred). A warm, friendly, and professional demeanor that makes our clients feel welcome. You will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth running of our reception area, and your efforts will directly contribute to our clinic's success in providing outstanding service to our clients and their pets.
