Structural Steel Detailer

Welding and Engineering Limited – Christchurch, South Island We are seeking a Detailer to be part of our energetic and motivated team who are passionate to provide the delivery of a quality product. We specialize in fabricating and installing Structural Steelwork and strengthening steelwork mainly throughout Christchurch, but sometimes to different regions of NZ to new and existing buildings. Successful applicants will be required to have proven experience and the following attributes/skills. Being able to interpret design documentation creating Models (IFA) through to (IFF). Structural and strengthening steelwork experience The ability and know how to site measure A working knowledge of Tekla Understanding of welding symbols and details A customer-centric approach and have outstanding communication skills. This position is a key integral part of our business, and we are looking for an applicant that is passionate about being successful and is willing to think and work together specifically when detailing challenging strengthening steelwork designs. The successful applicant will be working alongside a small leadership team and will have the opportunity to develop the business in this key role.
