The role We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with LTA project experience and a strong ACMV background to support the execution of major infrastructure projects . The successful candidate will be responsible for BoQ preparation, supplier coordination, RFQ sourcing, technical submissions , and project coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Salary: Basic + up to 3 months VB + Grade allowance Working Hours: Mon – Fri, Office Hours HQ Location: Commonwealth, Singapore Responsibilities Manage mechanical and ACMV engineering works for commercial and LTA projects from planning through project completion. Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BoQ), material take-offs, and cost estimates. Source, coordinate, and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors, including requesting and reviewing quotations (RFQs). Prepare and submit technical documents, material submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and other project documentation for consultant/client approval. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications and schedules. Attend site inspections, coordination meetings, and technical discussions as required. Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements. Support procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Assist with project documentation, testing and commissioning, handover, and as-built documentation. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant Mechanical Engineering experience , preferably in commercial building projects. Hands-on experience with ACMV systems , including ductwork, chilled water systems, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, and related mechanical services would be an advantage Experience preparing Bills of Quantities (BoQ) , material take-offs, and cost estimation preferred Experience coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, including sourcing and evaluating quotations ( RFQs ) preferred Familiar with preparing technical submissions, material submissions, and project documentation. Experience working on LTA-related projects will be an advantage. Good understanding of project coordination, procurement processes, and construction methodologies. Experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and technical specifications. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM/Revit is an added advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
