We’ve got an exciting Outage Managerrole just for you! In this position, you’ll work in close collaboration with the Distribution Projects Team,making a real impact. Establishing and implementing planned outage management systems and procedures that meet both customer and Omexom requirements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Developing, implementing, and measuring planned outage management improvement initiatives in line with the Wellington Distribution Services Perimeter and customer strategies Reviewing and coordinating of planned outage submissions and requests from the job Managers and Technical Coordinators Identification of 'critical end-user customers' and support with outage notification and arrangements Understand and comply with all Omexom health and safety policies and procedures Understand and comply with your obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and all associated regulations, standard, and approved codes of practice Comply with any reasonable instruction given to you by Omexom relating to Health and Safety Qualifications and Skills Hands-on experience in Distribution network installation, switching and maintenance Critical thinking and contemplative skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions Thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements pertaining to all prescribed electrical work Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing Proven experience in a management or relationship building role Relate well in an operationally diverse team environment and interact effectively with people of different cultures Who are we?
