Breast Screen Radiologist , Permanent Part- time role Breast Screen Counties Manukau is part of Health New Zealand's free national Breast Screen Aotearoa Programme, screening over 45,000 women annually. Our service is dedicated to providing exceptional care and a consistently positive experience for our clients. About the role This role is to provide radiology services that will facilitate high quality breast screening and assessment services for BreastScreen Counties Manukau. These services form part of the national BreastScreen Aotearoa (BSA) Programme in the detection and diagnosis of breast cancer in the Counties Manukau district. About the Team/Service/Location Middlemore is one of the largest hospitals operated by Health New Zealand -Te Whatu Ora. We offer secondary-level (hospital and specialist) care and a selected range of community and domiciliary services for the population of Counties Manukau - the area that stretches from Otahuhu to Port Waikato. We also provide niche specialist tertiary services for regional and national consumers in orthopaedic and plastic surgery, burns, spinal injury rehabilitation, renal dialysis, and neonatal intensive care. It is an accredited teaching hospital of Auckland University and University of Otago and caters for most medical and surgical specialties with a catchment area of around 600,000 people. We are currently looking for part time Radiologists to join our BreastScreen team! For more information on living and working in beautiful South Auckland. About you You must be FRANZCR qualified (or equivalent) and hold, or be eligible for, vocational registration with Medical Council of NZ. If you are an international candidate you can be considered for this role under the condition, you are eligible for vocational registration with the MCNZ.
