About the Role You’re a Senior Software Engineer looking to take a leading hand in developing and evolving web-based products their organisation depends on. You'll work across the full stack from polished, responsive frontends through to robust backend services and data layers contributing to software that underpins real-world operations. Day to day you'll be: Building and maintaining modern frontend interfaces in React , Next.js , and TypeScript Developing backend services and APIs using C# and Node.js Working with PostgreSQL to design and query relational data Collaborating closely with stakeholders, designers, and domain experts to turn complex requirements into clean, usable software Contributing to architecture decisions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of the development process About You You're an experienced full-stack engineer who takes ownership of your work and cares about the end result. You're comfortable moving between frontend and backend, and you bring a pragmatic, quality-first mindset to everything you ship. You'll bring: Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript Solid backend development skills in C# and Node.js Confidence working with PostgreSQL and relational data modelling Experience in a structured team environment with good engineering practices (code review, CI/CD, testing) Clear communication skills and the ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders Experience building tools or interfaces for specialist or operational users Familiarity with safety-conscious or regulated software environments A background in UX thinking or accessibility What's On Offer Five weeks annual leave Hybrid working flexibility A technically interesting environment with real learning and career growth This is a permanent, full-time role based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
