Facility Nurse Manager - Aged Care Christchurch | $130,000-$140,000 Are you an experienced aged care leader ready to take the next step in your career? Join a modern, well-established care centre where you'll have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team and make a genuine difference in the lives of residents and their families. This 81-bed service provides rest home, hospital, palliative and respite care, along with a specialised 21-bed dementia unit. Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager, you'll be supported by an experienced leadership team, including a long-standing Clinical Nurse Manager, Service Manager and Unit Coordinator. As Facility Nurse Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring exceptional clinical standards, regulatory compliance and a positive team culture. We're seeking a leader who is firm but fair, able to inspire their team while maintaining high expectations and delivering outstanding resident care. Ideally, you will be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with experience in a non-clinical management role. However, candidates with significant aged care leadership experience and a strong operational background will also be considered. To succeed in this role, you will bring: A strong understanding of New Zealand health regulations, audits and quality systems Proven leadership and people management skills The ability to coach and support nursing and care teams Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities A commitment to continuous improvement and exceptional resident outcomes This is a full-time position with an ASAP start available.
