Job Description
We're looking for a reliable Class 2 Driver who is willing to support our operations team when needed while delivering exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Based in Porirua, you'll be servicing customers throughout the Wellington region.This is a rotating role primarily responsible for transporting medical and quarantine waste, with Core Hygiene servicing undertaken only as required. This is a 40-hour-per-week role that includes working one day each weekend. What You’ll be Doing: Operating vehicles and equipment to service our clients on collection of medical and quarantine waste Delivering professional and high-quality customer service Performing loading and unloading duties including wheelie bins Servicing Core Hygiene clients including some minor installs Be available to relieve core servicing and technician work Operating computerised systems and completing paperwork Perform daily vehicle/safety checks Maintaining accurate records and ensuring full compliance with quarantine procedures· Requirements: Current class 2 license Ability to work one day a weekend as part of standard shift Previous commercial driving delivery experience with multiple collections and deliveries Physically fit to load and unload Great communication skills with the ability to engage with customers Aptitude to operate computerised systems DG Endorsement (beneficial but can be obtained) Competitive hourly rate Discounted hygiene and sanitation products from Pacific Hygiene (sister company) Wellness Services (e.g. EAP, Flu Vaccinations) Values-based supportive culture Why Join Interwaste?
