About the Opportunity We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Registered Nurses who are interested in joining our Flight Nurse team . Flight Nurses play a critical role in providing safe, high-quality patient care during aeromedical and road transfers. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, monitor, and support patients during transport while ensuring care remains person and whānau centred, evidence based, and clinically safe. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who thrive in dynamic clinical environments, enjoy working autonomously, and are passionate about delivering excellent patient care. We Are Looking For Nurses Who Have: Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate At least five years post-registration nursing experience Recent experience in emergency, high dependency, critical care, or intensive care nursing CORE Advanced certification IV certification/designation Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities A commitment to culturally safe practice and equitable health outcomes for Māori and all communities About the Team / Service / Location The Flight Service is committed to providing safe, responsive, and high-quality patient transport across the region.
