About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for: Fabricating and assembling components to engineering drawings and specifications. MIG and TIG welding, particularly aluminium fabrication. General fitting and assembly work, including pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, and metering equipment. Reviewing engineering drawings and providing practical feedback to improve fabrication methods and efficiency. Operating a range of workshop machinery and equipment safely and effectively. Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment. Recording materials and labour accurately against jobs. Working closely with engineers, suppliers, and colleagues to ensure projects are completed to a high standard. Following all health and safety procedures and contributing to a positive team culture. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A relevant trade qualification or at least 4 years' experience in fabrication, welding, or a similar role. Proven experience with MIG and TIG welding. Experience working with aluminium sheet metal fabrication. Strong knowledge of general workshop machinery and fabrication equipment. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team.
