About the Role We are looking for experiencedOccupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join our Adult Community and Long-Term ConditionsDirectorate. We have multiple openings with the capacity of permanent full-time/part-time role. These roles are based atKahui Marino, Pt Chevalier Clinical Centre. The primary purpose of the role is to provide a client-centred safe, effective, and efficient outcome focused specialised wheelchair and seating service. This is achieved by maintaining an agreed clinical caseload providing assessment, education, configuration and review of wheelchair and seating solutions. The majority of your working time is client related. About the Team/Service/Location The Mobility Solutions team are a client focused, motivated and creative group of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, therapy assistants and technicians who assist people of all ages and abilities to achieve their mobility and positioning goals. About you As the ideal person for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes: Have New Zealand registration as an Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist with current Annual Practicing Certificate 2+ years of post-graduate clinical work experience as an OT / PT Full, clean New Zealand Drivers License Be a great connector of people and ideas Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary setting Effective time management, prioritisation and organisation skills Drive, energy and initiative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven experience working in wheelchair and seating advantageous Credentialed or underway with the credentialing process for WMPML1 or WMPML2 advantageous Click here to view the position description For more information about this role please contact Sook Yin Ng - Service Lead via **********@tewhatuora.govt.nz Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
