Nightshift Operations Coordinator

Kaan's Catering Supplies Ltd | Dunedin Kaan's Catering Supplies is a leading South Island food wholesaler, supplying over 3,500 products including fresh produce, seafood, meat, and specialty food products. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Night Shift Coordinator to join our Operations Team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll act as the key link between our Twilight and Night Shift teams and the Operations Manager, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operations. About the Role As Night Shift Coordinator, you will help lead our evening and overnight operations, supporting Team Leaders, coordinating workflow, and ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently achieved. Hours worked Monday to Friday 4:00pm to 1:30am Key Responsibilities Support and coach Twilight and Night Shift Team Leaders Coordinate staffing and workflow to meet operational targets Monitor team performance and productivity Assist with performance management and employee development Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality compliance Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies Work closely with the Operations Manager to achieve operational goals About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven leadership or supervisory experience Experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or a similar operational environment Strong organisational and problem-solving skills The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines Excellent communication and people leadership skills A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Why Join Kaan's?
