Electrician

McAlpines Engineering is looking for a qualified Electrician to join our Electrical team. This is a great opportunity to work across a variety of Domestic ,Industrial, and project-based electrical work for customers throughout New Zealand and Australia. Working Days / Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. About the Role The role includes project work, installation of new equipment, fault finding, electrical maintenance, and providing practical solutions for our existing customer base. You will be part of a capable team working across varied and interesting electrical projects. Key Skills and Experience Current EWRB practicing license. Legal right to work in New Zealand. Current full New Zealand Electrical Registration. Experience with industrial automation, fault finding, and programming. Knowledge of motor control systems, variable speed drives, and soft starters. Experience with machine safety systems. Experience with lighting systems and general distribution systems. Domestic and industrial electrical installation and fit-out experience.
