Our Commercial Services team plays a critical role in supporting projects across their full lifecycle – from procurement through to delivery and strategic contract management. Now, we’re looking for a talented Programme Reporting & Scheduling Advisor to join us. The Opportunity This is your chance to step into a pivotal role where you’ll help shape how major programmes and projects are delivered across the city. As our Programme Reporting & Scheduling Advisor, you’ll lead the development and continuous improvement of programme scheduling, reporting, and systems. You’ll work closely with project managers and senior leaders to ensure projects are well planned, on track, and delivering value for our communities. This role sits at the centre of decision‑making – providing high‑quality insights, maintaining accurate programme data, and helping drive best practice across project and programme management. What you’ll bring We’re looking for someone who thrives in complexity, enjoys working collaboratively, and brings strong technical expertise. Ideally, you will have: A degree in Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field At least 7 years’ experience in project management, engineering, or similar environments Proven experience managing and scheduling multiple projects or programmes of work Strong financial and project reporting expertiseAdvanced proficiency with project management tools and the Microsoft suite A collaborative mindset with excellent relationship‑building skills Clear, confident communication skills – able to translate complex information into meaningful insights Bonus points if you have PRINCE2 or relevant professional accreditation. What you’ll be doing Leading programme scheduling and reporting across a diverse portfolio of projects Providing expert advice to project managers and senior stakeholders Supporting long‑term planning, budgeting, and forecasting Driving continuous improvement in systems, processes, and capability Ensuring accurate, timely reporting to support decision‑making and governance Helping ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned to Council priorities What we offfer Salary range: $106,328 - $125,092 5 weeks annual leave + long service leave Parental leave benefits, including paid partner’s leave Health and wellbeing benefits, including annual flu vaccinations and eye checks #J-18808-Ljbffr
