Gain broad clinical exposure across Obstetrics, Gynaecology, theatre, antenatal clinics and acute care Structured teaching programme including didactic teaching, journal clubs, case discussions and video-conferenced education Join a supportive multidisciplinary team with excellent Consultant supervision Live in New Zealand's stunning Northland region, just two hours from Auckland, with world-class beaches, diving and outdoor adventures Salary: NZD $106,672 - $133,842 (dependent on experience) The Role Whangārei Hospital is a modern 246-bed regional hospital providing secondary care services to a population of approximately 194,000 across Northland. Working alongside experienced Consultants and Registrars, you'll gain valuable experience managing both acute and elective Obstetrics & Gynaecology patients across a wide variety of clinical settings. Your experience will include: Labour Ward Antenatal clinics Gynaecology outpatient clinics Acute Obstetric & Gynaecology presentations Theatre sessions You'll participate in a 1-in-7 roster, including long days, nights and weekends, whilst benefiting from a well-established teaching programme designed to support your clinical development through: Consultant-led teaching Journal clubs Video-conferenced education Regular multidisciplinary learning This position provides an excellent foundation for doctors considering a future career in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
