Class 2 - Sump Truck Driver / Operator

Equip People Limited – Wellington, North Island EQUIP People are seeking experienced Class 2 Driver Operators to support a short-term infrastructure project in Masterton commencing 2nd June. This role suits someone practical, reliable and comfortable working in a physical outdoor environment while supporting site and drainage operations. Duties may include: Operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently Supporting sump and drainage-related operations Assisting with loading, unloading and site tasks as required Working alongside crews to maintain safe and productive site operations Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks Following all site safety and operational procedures Maintaining professional communication with site teams and supervisors This role is hands-on and may involve physical labour alongside driving duties. What We’re Looking For Current NZ Class 2 Driver Licence Previous civil, drainage or infrastructure experience preferred Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work Reliable, punctual and safety focused Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently when requiredPractical attitude and willingness to assist across site operations Important Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test Ministry of Justice checks will be considered on a case-by-case basis No overseas applicants Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand What’s On Offer $28–$32 per hour depending on experience 4-week project assignment starting 2nd June Consistent full-time hours Supportive and safety-focused team environment Opportunity to gain further infrastructure project experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
