Heavy Diesel Parts & Services (HDPS) is looking for an experienced Engineer, Fabricator or Welder/Fitter who's ready to take the next step into a leadership role, or an established Engineering Foreman looking for a new challenge. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead a small team while remaining active on the tools. From new truck preparation to truck and trailer repairs, custom fabrication and structural modifications, every day brings something different. What you’ll be doing Leading and mentoring a small engineering team Coordinating workflow and maintaining quality standards Fabricating, repairing and modifying heavy transport equipment Working on new truck fit-outs, structural repairs and custom builds Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and on time What we’re looking for Previous engineering and fabrication experience Strong leadership and communication skills High-quality MIG and TIG welding skills Experience with steel, aluminium and stainless fabrication Ability to problem-solve and produce quality workmanship LT400 (formerly 4711) Class 4/5 licence and F Endorsement are advantageous but not essential Why HDPS?
