NZ sheep milk that’s nutritious and delicious - Spring Sheep springsheepnz.com PURPOSE OF POSITION The Plant Assistant’s primary purpose is to take responsibility for the key parts of the packing room, and storage process. The position is based off a shift roster pattern of 4-days on 4-days off. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor the packing plant to ensure the production of high-quality products. Carry out packing of a product and ensure compliance to packing targets and standards. Set up, monitor and maintain the packing line i.e. packing, jet coding, sampling, palletising, stretch wrapping, labelling and product storage. Carry out final product testing and liaise with the Plant Operator regarding the results. Operate, start-up, run, CIP, perform basic diagnostics, shut down, complete appropriate documentation. Carry out the weighing and tipping of ingredients (including heating and transfer of Oils) ensuring compliance to the specifications batching sheets. Check and release finished batch. Skills and experience Our ideal candidate will have; Dairy manufacturing experience. 1 years’ experience in spray drying or similar manufacturing operations preferred.
