Senior Mobile Test Engineer

These are hands-on roles working across mobile applications, APIs, and backend services within a large and complex technology environment. We’re looking for quality professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality digital experiences through a combination of manual testing, automation, and quality engineering best practices. Key Responsibilities Perform manual, exploratory, and automated testing across mobile and backend systems Test mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms Execute API and microservices testing Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices Collaborate closely with developers, stakeholders, and delivery teams Identify, communicate, and manage quality risks For Test Lead candidates, additional responsibilities include: Leading testing activities across key initiatives Defining test strategies and quality approaches Mentoring team members and promoting best practice Providing quality reporting and stakeholder engagement Skills & Experience Strong experience in mobile testing and automation (Appium, XCUITest, Espresso) Experience testing APIs and microservices Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Swift, or similar Experience with Postman, Playwright, Cucumber, Jest, Mocha, or similar tools Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working within Agile delivery environments Desirable Experience within financial services or other regulated industries Exposure to tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or JMeter Experience supporting large-scale mobile or digital platforms If you’re an experienced Mobile Test Engineer looking for your next contract opportunity and are available for a 5-6 month engagement in Wellington, #J-18808-Ljbffr
