Venue Manager

Trinity Group Holdings (2008) Limited - Wellington Central, North Island This is a hands-on leadership role at The Bridge Bar, structured as approximately 30 hours per week operational - on the floor, running shifts, leading the team, and driving an exceptional guest experience - and approximately 15 hours per week non-operational - admin, rostering, compliance, gaming, ordering, and working directly with the owner on the development of the venue. You will work closely with the owner, who will provide thorough training in admin systems, gaming operations, and venue processes. Key responsibilities Lead every shift from the front - visible, engaged, and setting the standard Build and coach a team that delivers warm, genuine hospitality every time Own the guest experience: from the greeting at the door to the recovery when something goes wrong Run the operational side with precision - cash handling, stock, rostering, compliance, and gaming Hold standards consistently and build a culture of accountability Partner with the owner on training, systems, and growing the venue About you Proven technical skills in bar/venue operations A natural leader with energy that lifts the room Self-aware: you know your strengths, own your gaps, and want to grow Obsessive about detail - the small things are the big things Guest-focused to your core: hospitality is who you are, not just what you do Experience in (or willingness to be trained in) gaming operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
