We are seeking experienced Roofers to join our client's growing team in the Wellington region. These are full-time, permanent roles with a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week, offering a variety of installation, replacement, and repair work across residential, commercial, and project-based sites. Location: Wellington Pay: NZD $30.00 – $40.00 per hour, depending on experience Hours: Minimum 30 guaranteed per week Employment type: Full-time, permanent The Role Install and replace long-run, tile, and membrane roofing systems Install roofing underlay, flashings, ridge caps and edge details Complete roof repairs and re-roofs on residential and commercial buildings Work from plans, specifications and site instructions Ensure work is watertight and completed to a high standard Maintain accurate records of work completed Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site requirements What We're Looking For A recognised trade qualification in Roofing (NZQF Level 4 or overseas equivalent), OR at least 3 years' relevant industry experience installing, repairing and replacing roofing systems Good technical skills and attention to detail Reliable, hardworking, and professional approach Good communication and client-facing skills Commitment to health and safety, including working at heights Full driver's licence Willingness to travel to other regions occasionally as project demand requires Applications close: 27 August 2026 Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
