Job Description
Hillview Trust Incorporated – Waikato District, North Island To ensure Hillview provides a quality service as required by Te Whatu Ora, the Hillview Board of Trustees and the wider community. To carry out a range of organisational and support tasks to ensure the quality management, administration, and coordination responsibilities of Hillview are professional, timely and accurate and to ensure a Continuing Quality Improvement Programme. Key responsibilities Develop, implement and maintain an ongoing Quality Programme for Hillview Actively participate in and promote the development and maintenance of the quality programme and adhere to all Policies and Procedures and Guidelines (PPG) of Hillview In conjunction with the Clinical Manager and Infection Control Nurse, ensure that the Infection Control Program and annual Infection Control objectives are met Lead and coordinate the internal audit programme including undertaking audits, reviewing results, providing recommendations and implementing any agreed changes to policy and practice In conjunction with the General Manager and Clinical Manager ensure all resident and staff personal records and forms are audited and kept up to date In conjunction with the Clinical Manager and Restraint Coordinator, ensure all restraint records are kept up to date and monitor staff compliance Ensure all quality programme work is disseminated and communication includes all relevant parties Develop and implement a Risk program and register for Hillview and maintain this as required Provide monthly reports for agreed quality measures including but not limited to, Falls, Infections and Incidents Actively engage in CTCA benchmarking in conjunction with the General Manager and the Clinical Manager About you Registered Health professional background ideally with a current Annual Practising Certificate Qualified auditor or experience undertaken/conducting audits Experience establishing and overseeing educational training & education 2+ years' experience in policy development, implementation and review Experience in Risk Management processes and reporting Exceptional written and oral skills Outstanding interpersonal skills including the ability to lead and engage others Ability to analyse, interpret and make recommendations based on evidence Time management skills are critical, as is the ability to meet deadlines Remains calm under pressure About us Hillview is governed by a Board of Trustees and provides services as required by Te Whatu Ora and the wider community. #J-18808-Ljbffr
