Site Management Sub Category Site Management Listed Thursday, 30 July 2026 Location Tauranga Consultant Paddy 027 499 6643 Job Type Full Time Opportunity for a Site Manager with a highly respected commercial contractor Experienced Site Manager, ideally Trade qualified with New Zealand buildability Long established client requires a Site Manager to join their existing team to deliver projects in Tauranga region. As a Site Manager you will ideally have experience delivering commercial projects valued at $10m + and be from a trade background with knowledge of NZ's OHS/IR laws. We want a SM with sound commercial structures experience and buildability factor to drive projects. The successful candidate will have stand-alone experience working as a Site Manager in a NZ commercial construction environment. You'll be ensuring your team is adhering to all Health & Safety requirements on site - and you'll be the one setting the example. You'll be working with a variety of people on site, so your ability to be hands on while also being a professional and confident communicator and having the technical knowledge to back it up will hold you in good stead. You will be no stranger to running inductions, tool box talks and ensuring everything on site is efficient and effective. The key responsibilities of this role are: Co-ordinating and leading site activities Playing a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget Identify and resolve key building issues whilst maintaining the programme Supervise/ check works in all trades of quality and accuracy Conduct site meetings Supervise and resolve any sub-contractor disagreements We welcome applications from those with a solid background in site management within New Zealand who have hands on experience or hold an appropriate trade certification. You will have a very strong commitment to Health & Safety and be an advocate and ensure all staff are adhering to safe working practices at all times.
