As the newest Water Treatment Operator on the block,you will support the operation and maintenance of Council's water treatmentfacilities, including water supply intakes, bulk supply pipelines and storageacross the Timaru District. We are on the lookout for a team player with acan-do attitude, paired with the drive to learn new skills and concepts.Ideally, we're after an individual who has some experience with water treatmentprocess, and has completed/working towards a NZ Certificate in Water Treatment(Level 4). If not, don't worryas we will support your training towards completing the certificate - earnwhile you learn! If you're ready totake on the challenge and think you've got what it takes, we want to hear fromyou! This is apermanent role offering 40 hours per week, withparticipation in the rostered 24-hour immediate response on-call team onceyou learn the ropes of the role. This offers flexibility and rostered days offto ensure a fantastic work-life balance. The hourly rate for this role is $34.18 - $39.01, plus on-call allowances.
