Join a Leading Modular Construction Team Are you a qualified LBP Carpenter looking for a varied role that combines factory-based construction with on-site installation projects throughout New Zealand? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Building Practitioner (Carpentry) to join our growing modular construction team. This is an opportunity to work on innovative, high-quality modular buildings for education, healthcare, commercial, government, and community sectors. About the Role As an LBP Carpenter, you will be involved in the full construction process, from manufacturing and assembly in our production facility through to on-site installation and completion of modular buildings. No two projects are the same, and you'll be part of a team delivering buildings that make a real difference to communities across New Zealand. Key Responsibilities Manufacture and assemble modular building components to a high standard. Complete framing, cladding, roofing, interior fit-out, and finishing work. Undertake and supervise restricted building work in accordance with LBP requirements. Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Assist with the delivery, positioning, and installation of modular buildings on site. Complete module connections, weatherproofing, and final finishing works. Maintain quality assurance records and support compliance requirements. Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture. Mentor apprentices and support less experienced team members. What We're Looking For Current New Zealand Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) - Carpentry or willingness to obtain license Qualified Carpenter with relevant trade certification. Proven experience in residential, commercial, or modular construction. Strong understanding of the New Zealand Building Code and construction practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full New Zealand Driver License. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Highly Regarded Experience in modular, prefabricated, or off-site construction. Site Safe Passport. Working at Heights certification. Forklift, EWP, or telehandler experience.
