Based in Palmerston North, we support a diverse client base across the Manawatū-Whanganui and upper Wellington regions. Our team includes electricians, gasfitters, plumbers, and refrigeration technicians who work collaboratively to deliver quality service. About the role: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our growing team, preferably with experience in maintaining, servicing and repairing fast-food commercial equipment. You’ll be responsible for: Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial electrical equipment, including kitchen and laundry appliances. Attending on-site service calls and performing in-workshop repairs. Completing electrical compliance checks and maintaining accurate service records. Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues. Working independently and as part of a tight-knit team. This is a technically varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting and problem-solving. Training will be provided to broaden your knowledge of specific commercial systems and machinery To be successful in this role, you will have: Hold a current EWRB practising licence. Hold a clean, full New Zealand driver’s licence. Have at least three years of relevant work experience in electrical servicing or appliance repair. Be competent working independently and mentoring apprentices. Demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Be trustworthy, reliable, and take pride in delivering quality workmanship.
