Their expertise spans research and development, system design, testing, manufacturing, product support, delivering innovative, high-reliability technology for some of the world's most demanding environments. From concept through to production, you'll help shape the next generation of embedded electronic products while working with cutting-edge technologies and collaborating across hardware, software, mechanical and production engineering. About the Role As the Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer, you'll play a key role in the complete product development life-cycle. You'll contribute to system architecture, hardware platform design, circuit development, integration, testing and production support while providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering projects. This is far more than a PCB design role. You'll influence architectural decisions, solve complex engineering challenges, and ensure products are robust, reliable and ready for deployment in safety-critical applications. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to embedded system architecture and technical design decisions Design ARM-based embedded hardware from concept through to production Develop schematic designs and support multi-layer PCB development Integrate hardware with embedded software and RF technologies Support prototype bring-up, testing, validation and debugging Work alongside software, mechanical and production engineers to deliver complete products Collaborate with manufacturing partners during production transfer Ensure designs comply with military, industrial and commercial standards Produce high-quality engineering documentation Promote safe, reliable engineering practices throughout the design life-cycle About You: 8+ years' experience designing embedded electronic hardware Strong knowledge of ARM-based microprocessors and micro-controllers(STM32, NXP, Nordic, TI, Microchip or similar) Proven experience taking products from concept through to manufacture Experience with schematic capture, PCB design, hardware validation and debugging Strong understanding of embedded hardware and software integration Experience designing low-power or battery-operated devices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to engineering The ability to obtain and maintain security clearance Bonus Points If You Have Experience With: RF-enabled products (LoRa preferred) BLE, GNSS or other wireless technologies Power management and battery charging systems EMC/EMI compliance testing Embedded firmware development Sensor integration and mixed-signal design Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) Safety-critical or high-reliability product development Ready to Build Technology That Makes a Difference?
