We're looking for a Desktop Support Engineer who thrives on solving real technical problems and building lasting client relationships. If you're hands-on, proactive, and motivated by delivering great service, we want to hear from you. About the role You'll join our Operations team, providing delivery and support of IT systems and infrastructure across our client base. You'll be the go-to person for end-user support - delivering hands-on technical solutions that keep our clients productive. What you'll be doing Technical support and infrastructure management: Provide Level 1 & 2 technical support for hosted services and end-user environments Build, configure, support, and maintain PCs across client sites - getting the setup right the first time Manage systems maintenance and security - patching, imaging, backups, antivirus, and Windows infrastructure management Deliver both remote and on-site end-user support with a genuine focus on getting clients back up and running Handle incoming support requests via calls and emails - logging, actioning, and prioritising based on client SLA and business impact Record all interactions and updates in our CRM, keeping client information current and organised Who we are looking for Core skills and experience: At least 1 year in IT support, ideally in a managed services environment Proven hands-on experience supporting and implementing Windows Infrastructure Intermediate skills with the latest Windows Desktop operating systems Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Modern Work environments Strong problem-solving ability - you think through issues systematically Excellent client-facing communication - you explain technical concepts clearly and build confidence Self-motivated and organised - you manage your workload effectively without constant supervision Meticulous attention to detail - accuracy matters in every ticket, every documentation update, every client interaction Current, valid NZ driver's license Nice to have: You'll be part of a collaborative operations team where your technical input is valued and contributes to real business decisions.
