Landscaping foreman

Southscapes is a new company with a serious pipeline of work behind it, partnering with one of the Selwyn region's largest housing builders on 100+ new builds a year That means a steady, reliable pipeline of work — and a real opportunity for the right person to grow with us as the business grows. We're after an experienced Foreman to lead our crew across a high volume of new-build landscaping projects. This is a hands‑on role for someone who knows their stuff, takes pride in a tidy finish, and wants to help shape a new company from the ground up. What you’ll be doing Leading a crew day‑to‑day across new‑build sites in the Selwyn region Prepping and forming driveways and paths General soft landscaping — topsoil, planting, lawns, and site finishing Reading plans and setting out work accurately Keeping jobs on programme, on budget, and to a high standard Running a safe, tidy site with health & safety front of mind What you’ll bring Ideally 3+ years’ experience across hard and soft landscaping A strong all‑round skill set and an eye for a quality finish The ability to read plans and problem‑solve on site A full NZ driver’s licence (Class 2 / towing an advantage) A reliable, straight‑up attitude and the drive to grow with us What’s in it for you Company vehicle provided $35 - $45 per hour, depending on experience Full‑time, permanent work with a consistent flow of jobs A genuine path to grow as the company expands A team that backs its people and does things properly — no corporate nonsense #J-18808-Ljbffr
