Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners – Wellington Central, North Island The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners is a membership organisation and a medical college that provides post-graduate training for doctors wanting to specialise in general practice and rural hospital medicine. Our 80+ operational staff support our 6,000 members with an aim to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequities. About the role Reporting to the Digital Transformation Manager, the BI Developer is responsible for turning the College’s data into clear, reliable, and actionable insight. This role will build and maintain the dashboards, reports, data pipelines, and reporting structures that help teams across the College make informed decisions. This is a role for someone who enjoys working across the full data lifecycle — from cleaning, structuring, and governing data through to delivering polished reporting that stakeholders trust and use. You’ll also contribute to the College’s growing use of AI and automation by exploring practical, responsible ways that data and analytics can support smarter decisions and better member outcomes. What you will do: Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports Translate business needs into meaningful data insights Develop and support data pipelines and reporting systems Improve data quality, governance, and security practice Identify trends and opportunities using analytics and AI tools Collaborate with stakeholders across the College to build data capability. Skills & Experience Experience with Power BI, Dynamics 365, and Dataverse Strong SQL and data modelling capability Experience developing data pipelines and reporting solutions Knowledge of data governance, security, and quality practices Ability to communicate data insights to a range of audiences Interest in applying AI and automation to improve decision-making.
