Automotive Technician / Mechanic – European Vehicles Luxxio Vehicles – North Shore, North Island Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic - European Vehicles Luxxio Vehicles Location: 196 Wairau Road, Wairau Valley, Auckland Employment type: Permanent, full-time Guaranteed hours: Minimum 40 hours per week Salary: $70,000–$85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience Luxxio Vehicles is looking for a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic to join our busy workshop team. We specialise in European vehicles and need someone who can confidently diagnose faults, complete repairs and servicing, and work efficiently without compromising quality. The role includes: Mechanical servicing, maintenance and repairs Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults Brake, suspension, cooling-system and engine repairs Pre-sale inspections and vehicle preparation Using diagnostic scanners and workshop equipment Road testing vehicles and accurately reporting faults Maintaining accurate records of work completed Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe Following workshop health and safety procedures Minimum requirements: A Level 4 Light Automotive Engineering qualification, or equivalent At least three years of relevant experience working as an automotive technician or motor mechanic Strong mechanical, electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills The ability to work independently and complete work to a high professional standard A current full driver licence that permits the applicant to drive in New Zealand The ability to communicate clearly and accurately report faults and work completed Preferred experience: Previous experience servicing and repairing European vehicles Experience working with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi or Volkswagen vehicles Experience using modern vehicle diagnostic systems and workshop equipment This is not a position for someone who requires constant supervision.
