CNC Machinists – Press brake, Plasma or Laser We’re looking for CNC Machinists who want to advance their career in our company. You’ll have a good understanding of press brake, laser or plasma machinery, and how to maintain and operate these machines on-site. The ideal applicant will have the following skills and abilities: At least 2 years’ experience operating CNC machines – for press brake, laser or plasma Be able to read and interpret shop drawings to an expert level Has an excellent level of attention to detail and focus on the given task Analytical thinker Tidy work habits Health, safety & well-being are part of your everyday thinking The CNC Machinists will ensure production lead times are met through expert operation of press brake, laser or plasma machinery. You’ll champion health and safety, quality control, and continuously improve training across all press brake, laser or plasma machines using best practice to maximise output. You should be able to check the machines for defects and repairs, ensure the machines are calibrated and cleaned to perform the essential functions. You will perform the prescribed preventative maintenance on machines and equipment and keep housekeeping at a high level as set by the Operations Manager. You will make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat, and tidy. This is a 45-hour-per-week, Monday to Friday role, with both day and night shifts available.
