HVAC Coating Preparation Assistant

A hands-on role with full training and the opportunity to build practical skills in the HVAC and protective-coating industry. The role involves carefully masking and wrapping chillers and HVAC equipment to protect coils, electrical components, pipework, labels and other areas during the coating process. The successful applicant must be able to complete neat, accurate wrapping, follow the required masking standards and maintain strong attention to detail while completing each task within a reasonable timeframe. The role also involves assisting qualified technicians with removing and reinstalling panels, fans, guards and other external components, cleaning and preparing surfaces, moving equipment, maintaining a tidy workshop and carrying out general labouring duties. The ideal applicant will be practical, reliable and able to safely perform the physical requirements of the role. They must be able to follow instructions, work efficiently without compromising quality and be comfortable using basic hand tools. Previous experience with HVAC equipment, automotive painting, spray preparation, mechanical work, industrial coating, masking or wrapping would be helpful but is not essential, as training will be provided. #J-18808-Ljbffr
