Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Coatings Painter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, a strong background in industrial coating painting, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for quality craftsmanship. This role involves preparing surfaces and applying high-quality industrial coatings (Resene, Dulux, Altex paint systems) across a range of projects. Key Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming. Apply two-pot epoxy painting systems using Resene, Dulux, Altex , and other industry-standard coatings. Mix and apply coatings according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines. Operate spray guns, rollers, and other application equipment. Ensure quality control by inspecting painted surfaces for proper coverage and finish. Follow all health and safety protocols, including the use of PPE and safe handling of hazardous materials. Maintain and clean equipment, tools, and the workspace. Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines Qualifications: At least 3 years’ relevant experience in industrial coatings or similar work Experience with industrial coating systems (e.g. Resene, Dulux, Altex or similar) Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and application methods. Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces or at heights if required Understanding of safety protocols and handling of hazardous materials. Physically fit with the ability to handle equipment and materials safely. Attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
