Pakuranga Tennis Club is looking for a passionate, motivated, and experienced Senior Tennis Coach (Contractor) to join our growing coaching team. Located in the beautiful suburb of Half Moon Bay, Auckland, our club has a strong community focus and a welcoming, supportive culture. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality coaching while creating a positive environment for players of all ages and abilities. We are looking for a coach who is committed to becoming a valued part of our club community and enjoys working in a collaborative, professional, and energetic team alongside our Head Coach and Assistant Coaches. About the Role Group coaching sessions Holiday programmes Delivering Social Nights and other club events Coaching within our School Programmes at local schools Coaching players of all ages and abilities, from beginners through to competitive/performance juniors Assisting with the planning and delivery of club coaching programmes where required This is a contractor position with the opportunity to grow your coaching hours and build a strong client base within the club. What We're Looking For Ability to coach players of all ages and abilities, from beginners to performance players Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach and Assistant Coaches Flexibility to work within the club's coaching programme while also showing initiative and leadership when required Experience delivering engaging, high-quality group coaching and private lessons A passion for creating a fun, positive, and inclusive learning environment Ability to help grow programmes and increase club participation and membership High level of professionalism, integrity, honesty, and reliability Strong work ethic with genuine commitment to the club and its community Right to work in New Zealand Full driver's licence Current First Aid Certificate Ability to work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications ITF Level 1 Coaching Qualification (or equivalent) Minimum of 3 years' coaching experience Preferred Start Date 20 September 2026 Join Pakuranga Tennis Club and become part of a friendly, supportive team that is passionate about developing players, building community, and making tennis enjoyable for everyone. #J-18808-Ljbffr
