About theRole Wehave an exciting opportunity for a New Zealand Registered Nurse with experiencein Cardiology and/or Radiology nursing to join our dynamic team. Thisdiverse role spans both the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory andInterventional Radiology, working alongside Cardiac Physiologists, MedicalImaging Technologists, Radiologists, Cardiologists, and the multidisciplinaryteam. InterventionalRadiology responsibilities include assisting with procedures such as biopsies,drainages, aspirations, spinal injections, CT colonography, vascular accessprocedures, Cardiac CT, and consenting and preparing patients for CT, as wellas administering contrast for CT examinations. Within the CardiacCatheterisation Laboratory, you will assist with coronary angiography,percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), pacemaker implantation, and othercardiac and vascular interventional procedures, undertaking both scrub andcirculating roles. Thisposition also provides opportunities to develop advanced skills, includingultrasound-guided vascular access, procedural sedation, and caring for patientsundergoing complex interventional cardiac and radiology procedures. You will bepart of a supportive team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centredcare while encouraging ongoing professional development and upskilling. AboutYou NZ registered nurse with at least two years nursing experience. Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge and experience of interventional radiology is desirable, and IV cannulation certificate would be advantageous.
