$70,000 - $85,000 a year Full time 9d ago , from Alpha Consulting Limited (AlphaCon Solutions) Graduate / Intermediate Surveyor Taupō | Permanent | Full-Time Build Your Surveying Career with a Leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy Our client is a well-established New Zealand multidisciplinary consultancy with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality surveying, engineering and planning solutions across a diverse range of land development and infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Graduate or Intermediate Surveyor to join their Taupō office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is either recently qualified or has up to two years' industry experience and is looking to develop their technical skills while working alongside experienced professionals. You'll become part of a supportive, collaborative team and gain exposure to a broad range of projects, modern surveying technology and genuine long-term career development. The Role Working across both field and office environments, your responsibilities will include: Topographic surveys Cadastral surveying for subdivision projects Construction set-out and as-built surveys Hydrographic surveys where required Survey data processing and plan preparation Working closely with surveyors, engineers and planners to deliver quality project outcomes Assisting with a wide variety of land development and infrastructure projects throughout the region About You We're looking for someone who has: A Bachelor of Surveying (or equivalent qualification), or is close to completing one Up to two years' surveying experience (New Zealand experience preferred but not essential) A genuine passion for surveying and a willingness to continue learning Strong communication and organisational skills The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team A full, clean New Zealand driver's licence Preferred Technical Experience Experience with some or all of the following would be advantageous: Leica GNSS Leica Total Stations / Robotic Instruments Leica Digital Levels 12d Model and/or AutoCAD Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of New Zealand cadastral surveying, subdivision processes and relevant legislation would be highly regarded but is not essential for the right candidate.
