SG Equipment Ltd is a leading materials handling equipment company providing sales, service and support throughout New Zealand. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service while building long-term relationships with our customers. We are looking for an organised and motivated Service Coordinator & Administrator to join our Te Puke branch. This is a pivotal role within the business where you'll coordinate daily service operations, support our technicians, liaise with customers and suppliers, and ensure the Te Puke branch continues to operate efficiently. The role requires someone who is organised, proactive and confident working independently. About the Role Working closely with our technicians, customers, Parts Department and management team, you'll be responsible for coordinating service work, managing work orders and helping drive branch productivity and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily service bookings for field technicians and workshop staff. Manage work orders from customer enquiry through to completion and invoicing. Prepare repair estimates and quotations. Follow up customers regarding preventative maintenance servicing. Process technician timesheets and job sheets. Coordinate parts and supplier requirements to minimise downtime. Ensure completed jobs are invoiced within company timeframes. Provide outstanding customer service and administrative support to the branch. About You To be successful in this role you'll have: Previous experience in a Service Coordinator, Service Administrator or similar role. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Confidence working with multiple systems and managing competing priorities. The ability to work independently while supporting a busy team environment. Able to work independently and manage your workload with minimal supervision. Comfortable working on your own, as there will be times you are the sole team member based at our Te Puke branch. Confident making decisions and taking ownership of day-to-day branch operations. Experience within the forklift, automotive, heavy equipment or mechanical service industry would be highly regarded but is not essential. What We Offer Competitive salary of $75,000-$85,000 depending on experience. Full-time permanent position. Monday to Friday - 7.30am to 4.00pm. Supportive team environment.
