Collaboration Systems Technical Lead (Sharepoint) Government Communications Security Bureau NZ – Auckland, North Island Join our diverse and talented people and work at the heart of national security, providing essential intelligence to the NZ Government to protect New Zealand and its people. Looking for a role where your skills and experience will be highly valued? No two days will be the same in this role where your focus will be to provide expert skills and advice to support the delivery and sustainment of the systems relied on by the Security and Intelligence Community to collaborate. You will in the near-term predominantly be focussed on our SharePoint platform and its tenancies, but will be comfortable learning about and working on a variety of systems that sit within the collaboration ecosystem, such as wiki’s, and chat applications. The strong satisfaction in seeing positive outcomes from your work will drive you, and engaging with engineers, business users/stakeholders and leaders will come naturally. You will be skilled in modern development practices such as Agile and DevSecOps, and be someone who continuously looks for ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the things they work on. Ko wai koe – about you You will have a strong on-premise SharePoint background, adaptability, and an interest in working on other relevant collaboration applications. You’ll also bring: Extensive hands-on experience deploying, configuring and customising SharePoint, Subscription Edition (on-premise) Stakeholder management, customer centricity and a focus on delivering value Adaptability and Resilience, the ability to solve complex technology problems Experience working with Atlassian tools (e.g. Confluence, Jira), foundational IT collaboration systems (e.g. instant messaging), and a strong understanding of Agile and DevSecOps would be desirable. You must: Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years OR Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
