Job Description

Assist the stakeholder to the scope up the work required for CM and A&A Assist the stakeholder to prepare project cost estimates and tender specification for consultancy Co-participate in the evaluation to award consultancy Work with consultants and stakeholders to detail the scope of work for main contractors Co-work with the consultant and main contractor to monitor site progress, attend site meeting and inspect the work after completion Assist end users to remind relevant WSH checks, RA and permits are valid and in compliance with Fire Safety & Building Control Procedures and Standards leading to submissions to Authorities and returning all documentation submitted after completion of work to owners for safe keeping. Co-perform with end users defects inspection and ensure rectification works being carried out after post construction Provide technical support to end users to manage Defect Liability Period Provide ad-hoc support and technical advice to all stakeholders Provide technical consultancy in carry out co-inspection of work after completion of work Recommend best practises in maintenance for safer operating environment Carry out routine visit to schools and centres Familiarise with MINDS Procurement guidelines and procedure Handle all Procurement related Purchase for the Department from sourcing, calling for quotations to award of vendor. Establish standard and processes that meets industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Conduct testing and inspection to ensure products or services met requirement. Recommend improvement to workflows and procedures for better efficiency and consistency. Maintains records of test results, defects, and corrective actions taken. Ensures adherence to legal, safety, and operational guidelines. Works with stakeholders to maintain quality throughout the lifecycle. Assign as FSM for one of the entity in MINDS Ensure the entity is safe and comply to the latest fire safety code Carry routine checks on Fire Protection Systems and removal any hazardous conditions in the premises Carry out two table-top exercises and two fire drills yearly Conduct internal training to stakeholders Qualifications At least a Diploma in Civil, Building, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Candidate with FSM certificate is preferred Other Information At least 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities, Project Management or Quality Assurance Good inter-personal and communication skills, able to work independently as well as in a team environment with individuals of diverse backgrounds #J-18808-Ljbffr
