The Role: We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist Palliative Care to join our dynamic team based at Middlemore Hospital. In this senior nursing role, you will play a key role in supporting patients with life-limiting illnesses and their whaanau through the provision of expert clinical care, education, and leadership. Key Responsibilities: Deliver advanced clinical expertise to patients requiring palliative and end-of-life care across settings. Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing and allied health colleagues. Collaborate with medical teams, hospices, primary care providers, and community services to ensure a coordinated, whaanau-centred approach. Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to policy development and service innovation. Advocate for culturally responsive care aligned with Te Tiriti o Waitangi and health equity principles About You: NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate 5+ years relevant clinical experience in NZ Oncology and Palliative Care experience preferred Proficient PDRP or higher Relevant Postgraduate qualification completed or near completion Join us in making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community.
