Wheel Alignment Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced Wheel Alignment & Tyre Technician to join their small, friendly team in Avondale. This is a hands‑on role offering a great mix of wheel alignments and tyre work across a wide range of vehicles including passenger cars, SUVs, vans, utes and 4WDs. Benefits Competitive hourly rate Monday to Friday role Saturday mornings only when required 45-hour working week Flexible start time of 7:30am or 8:00am Join a well‑established, reputable tyre and alignment workshop Small, supportive team where everyone pitches in Variety of work with approximately 8-12 wheel alignments completed each day across the workshop Responsibilities Include Carrying out accurate wheel alignments to manufacturer specifications Diagnosing alignment and suspension‑related issues Fitting, balancing and repairing tyresPerforming puncture repairs Operating workshop equipment safely and efficiently Providing excellent customer service and advice Assisting with tyre sales and recommending suitable products where appropriate (training provided) About You At least 5 years' experience in wheel alignments and tyre fitting within New Zealand Strong wheel alignment diagnostic skills A full, clean NZ Driver Licence Excellent spoken English and communication skills High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship The ability to work both independently and as part of a small team A positive, reliable and professional attitude The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test, complete a Ministry of Justice background check, and provide two recent work references.
